Terms of Service

By creating an account or using SPS-Academy, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

SPS-Academy is an educational platform for learning IEC 61131-3 Structured Text and HMI concepts through an in-browser editor, simulation, and exercises. It is provided for training purposes.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no unlawful content, no attempts to breach security or disrupt availability, no automated scraping or overloading, and no infringement of others’ rights.

4. Your content

You retain rights to code and content you create. You grant us the limited right to store and process it to operate the service for you.

5. Availability & disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” for education. Simulation results are approximations and must not be relied upon to control real machinery. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. [Adjust to your jurisdiction with counsel.]

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If your account was provided by a company that booked SPS-Academy for you, an administrator at that company may also revoke its access at any time — see section 4 of the Privacy Policy for what they can see and do. Revoking access does not delete your account or your learning data; only you can do that.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections.
